Welcome to the Nurse's Corner

My name is Christy Carter. I had to move around a lot when I was little because my dad was in the military, I was glad to finally settle down in Greeneville about 20 years ago. I have a love for traveling & finding new adventures. I am the mom to two smart, beautiful little girls & we have one super sweet dog. I have been a nurse for 17 years, mainly working in a pediatric office but I also have several years of hospital experience. Working as a school nurse has always been my dream job, so when the position came open last year at my kid's school, I was very excited. I have a passion for helping people & especially love working with kids. It is so rewarding for them to know your name or give you a hug every time they see you because you made them feel better. I firmly believe that people may not remember what you did but they always remember the way you made them feel. I try to do my best each day to let all students & anyone that comes into my office know that I care & want to help in any way I can to make their day better.
