BETA Club
The Junior Beta Club is a national organization for students in grades 6-8. Junior Beta was founded in 1934 to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. As an academic service club, its members must demonstrate academic leadership, a willingness to serve in the school and community, and follow the bylaws of the Beta Club.
Standards for membership in this club include the following: positive character; service and leadership within the school setting and community; academic achievement (overall GPA of 3.5 or higher), and consistent school attendance.
