About Me

Biography

My name is Becky Fillers.  I began teaching over 20 years ago. I have my BS in Elementary Education and a Masters in Instructional Leadership. I started my teaching career at Doak Elementary before transferring to DeBusk Elementary (now SGMS). I have taught all core subject areas in 4th and 5th grade and have taught 7th and 8th grade history, science, and ELA. I currently hold the position of SGMS Assistant Principal.  

I am married and have three children.  I enjoy spending time with my family, singing, and doing yard work.  I love the education profession and enjoy watching students grow emotionally, physically, and academically each year. I am extremely excited for the opportunity to serve SGMS in an administrative role, and hope to help students, faculty, and staff reach their max potential.
