Biography

Welcome to my biography page, SGMS families. I am Mrs. Becky Fillers, and this is my 22nd year in education. I earned my BS in Elementary Education from Tusculum University and a Masters in Instructional Leadership from LMU. I started my teaching career at Doak Elementary in 2004 where I taught all 4th and 5th grade core subjects. At SGMS, I served as a 7th and 8th grade history, science, and ELA teacher . I currently hold the position of SGMS Assistant Principal.  

I have been married for 25 years, and I have three children.  I enjoy spending time with my family, singing, and doing yard work.  I love the education profession and enjoy watching students grow emotionally, physically, and academically each year. I am extremely excited for the opportunity to serve SGMS in an administrative role again this year, and I hope to help students, faculty, and staff reach their goals.
