Welcome to Mrs. Roderick's class!
My name is Jennifer Roderick, and I have been teaching in the Greene County School System since 2001. I began my teaching career at Camp Creek Elementary School and transferred to DeBusk Elementary in 2007. In 2020, DeBusk transitioned to South Greene Middle School (SGMS), where I currently teach.
I married my husband, Jeff Roderick, in 1999. Together, we have two children, Jordyn and Jase. I come from a close-knit family and am the daughter of Junior and Doris Davis. I have three siblings: Mike Davis, co-owner of Air Pro; Marcey Compton, a teacher at Nolachuckey Elementary; and Jeanette Fillers, my identical twin sister, who teaches seventh-grade math at SGMS.
I graduated from South Greene High School and continued my education while playing basketball at Clemson University, where I earned a degree in Accounting. After discovering my passion for education, I completed a Master’s Degree in Education from Milligan College and later earned an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree from Union College.
