Welcome to Mr. Young's Class

My name is Mr. Young, and I am the 8th Grade U.S. History Teacher this year! This is my 4th year teaching, and I am excited to share my love of history with students to teach them not only about our past, but to also better prepare them for their future as American citizens.

As for credentials, I graduated Northeast State with an Associates in Secondary-Ed Teacher Prep and a Bachelors from ETSU in History which prepared me with large swaths of History ranging from the US to all continents. Teaching history to me is not just a subject, but it is about helping them learn to appreciate those who have gone before them and prepare them to take on that same goal of contributing towards the betterment of the country.
