Welcome to Mrs. Hummel's Classroom!

I have been teaching science for 20+ years.  I love teaching science and look forward to this year at South Greene Middle School. I am Nationally Board Certified in Science.  I have taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, AP Biology, and 7th and 8th grade sciences, to name a few.  I graduated from Appalachian State University.  I have live in Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi and the country of Jordan.  I love to hike and travel.  My goal this year is to help my students develop a love for learning...especially in science!
