About Me
Hello everyone! I have taught in the Greene County School System for 29 years as an elementary teacher, a Librarian and a Computer Science teacher. This is my 3rd year at SGMS. I am honored to work with your children in hopes of sparking a desire to be better readers and embrace the world of computer science.
📚 As a librarian, I strive to make the library a welcoming hub for exploration, creativity, and discovery. From recommending engaging reads to supporting research projects, I love guiding students as they develop critical thinking and information literacy skills.
💻 As a computer science teacher, I introduce students to the exciting world of technology—coding, robotics, digital citizenship, and problem-solving. My goal is to empower students to not only understand how technology works, but also how to use it responsibly and creatively.
Whether we’re discussing plot twists or debugging programs, I’m here to support every student’s journey as a reader, thinker, and innovator. I look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growing together!
