Biography

My name is Nathan Darnell. Welcome to South Greene Middle School! I have been teaching in Greene County since 2008. I have a Bachelors' Degree from East Tennessee State University, and my teaching certification and Master's Degree from Tusculum College. I am the current Science teacher for 6th grade. I am also the Athletic Director and F.C.A. Sponsor for South Greene Middle School.

I grew up in Greeneville and graduated from South Greene High School. Most of my family still lives in this area (several godchildren as well).  I am honored to be a teacher.  

I try to encourage critical thinking in my classroom. I am trying to prepare students for jobs that may not have even been invented yet.
