Virtual Learning Tech Help

In the event that you are having technical issues while engaging in virtual learning, please follow the steps below.
 
  1. Check the help guides on our "Student Resources and FAQs" page.
      • You can click the link above or find it under the "Resources" section of the SGMS website.
  2. If you are unable to troubleshoot your issue with the guides, please contact your teacher.
      • You can do this by messaging them through Canvas or by emailing them through the "Staff Contact Info" page listed under the "Our School"  section of the SGMS website. You will just click the email link under the teacher you are trying to contact.
  3. If your teacher is unable to resolve the issue, they may direct you to Mr. Cody Self, our School-Level IT Technician.
      • However, he will be the point of contact for device issues, not instructional technology issues. Do not reach out to him until you have done steps 1 and 2 listed above AND your teacher instructs you to contact him.
      • You can email him through the "Staff Contact Info" page listed under the "Our School"  section of the SGMS website as well. Just click the email link under his name.
      • Additionally, he can be reached Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm at (423)798-2623.
