South Greene Middle School is located just off the Asheville Highway in beautiful Greene County, Tennessee. SGMS has deep historical roots dating all the way back to 1901 when the original schoolhouse was constructed. Today, we have the privilege of serving approximately 380 students in grades 6-8. SGMS’s school culture is centered around supporting our students in their endeavors today in order to help them become lifelong learners tomorrow. We truly strive to “Make Every Day Count.”
